• ACTIVE LOCK BOLTS – Ruger® safes feature as many as 22 active lock bolts up to 1 ¼-inch diameter. The bolts extend a full 2-inches to lock securely behind the solid reinforced door frame. With a mere 1/64 of an inch tolerance, the need for integrity compromising support items is eliminated.
  
  
•  RECESSED SOLID STEEL DOOR – Ruger® safe doors are built with the highest tolerance standards, and are fully recessed into the safe body, reducing pry-points. All Ruger® safe doors are comprised of a solid steel plate, with a 4-inch thick angle structure. Unlike cheaper composite doors, our solid steel doors will not compromise the security of one of the most attacked areas of the safe.
  
  
• INTERNAL HINGES – Concealed internal ball bearing hinges on all Ruger® safes eliminate one of the most attacked areas of the safe. The internal hinges deter attack by disguising the direction of opening.
  
  
• DIAM-A-SHIELD™ BALL BEARING HARD PLATE – To protect the lock, relocker and other important areas, a solid ball bearing hard plate backs critical areas of the Ruger safe door. Diam-a-Shield™ provides 30 times the drilling protection of other brands.
  
  
• QUAD SLEEVE RELOCKER – Designed to trigger when the safe is attacked by torch, impact, or prying, the Quad Sleeve™ relocker forces a complete lockup of the safe.
  
  
• POSITIVE-DEADLOCK SYSTEM – The deadlock-locking system prevents the lock bolts from being forced into the lock mechanism, regardless of the side impact placed upon them.
